Long spells of rain and cloudy weather cause your belly to long for comfort. Three years years ago, a gal asked for chicken and dumpling on a rainy day. (The Mecca was still open!) This morning my inbox carries a message:
I know all of this rain is good, but it is making me crave chicken and dumplings. I think I ate them at Mama’s Daughters Diner a few years ago and they were salty. Surely with all of this Southern food in vogue there is a decent version out there. Can you ask your readers to suggest some restaurants for me.
