If you believe in weather forecasts, then you can expect fine outdoor dining weather tonight and tomorrow night. I suggest you plan to lunch, brunch, or sup at one of the many lovely restaurant patios in town. If you do so, let us know.

Last week, a party of five checked out Twenty Seven by Chef DAT (David Anthony Temple). He’s emerged from his underground party format and opened a 3-night-a-week restaurant with two seatings. According to this group, the food was “beautifully executed, creative combinations, intense flavors.” Standouts included “huitlacoche and black trumpet mushroom soup, blonde morel risotto (hand-picked by Erik Spicer) and a date bar with peanut butter ice cream.” Erik is the son of the late Tom “Spiceman” Spicer.

A loyal contributor and friends headed to Slow Bone where the experience “rocked our world.” They found the brisket to be “moist, tender, beefy, with an outstanding Noble Coyote Coffee rub.” Sausage “had a little spicy kick, while the cilantro links were just unctuous.”

And you? What do you plan to eat? Do it. Write about it.
