An eagle-eyed co-worker spotted permits in the window of what will become the Mid Elm Lofts between Akard and Olive streets (three buildings at 1512 through 1516 Elm). The project will feature about two dozen loft apartments and retail on the ground floor. Looks like some of that retail space will include another location of Mudsmith, The Londoner Pub, and Southpaw’s Organic Grill.

Just around the corner at 211 N. Ervay, Café Izmir will open in the interesting Alto 211 modern business center.

Update: Mudsmith owner, Brooke Humphries elaborates: “BIG new Mudsmith.  Two levels with private access co-working space on mezzanine. Bigger, badder, faster super awesome new Mudsmith downstairs. :)”
