YTAC-logo-low-resIt’s been a tumultuous year for Melissa Enriquez, founder of one of our favorite home and design shops, Gallerie Noir. In August of 2013 she was rushed into emergency cancer surgery, where the surgeon was able to remove all of the cancer and re-diagnose her from stage 3 to stage 1.

“Normally, I would not be so revealing with my personal life, but in this case I need to acknowledge my good fortune and more importantly the friends and family that were with me every step of the way and prayed for my heath and recovery,” Enriquez said via Facebook.

In an effort to give back, Enriquez is hosting a party at Gallerie Noir this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be a DJ, cocktails and champagne, and 20% of sales on everything (think clothing, jewelry, home accessories, and art) will benefit the Dallas chapter of Young Texans Against Cancer.
