Today is the Last Day To Register To Vote in Texas

Just a friendly reminder that if you’d like to vote, for either candidate, in the November 6 general election, today is the last day you can register to vote. And today has less than seven hours left. You are all of course welcome to exercise your free will and A) ignore this post, B) bash me in the comments for any number of reasons, including but not limited to the fact that Texas is already in a committed relationship with a certain party and therefore voting doesn’t make a difference, C) none of the above, or E) all of the above.

You can register online, but you still have to be able to print out the completed application and mail it in. Just completing the online form doesn’t do it, unfortunately–it must be postmarked. The better bet, since most post offices close at five, would be to try the election office. Hours are extended until 7 p.m.
