Long-time readers will remember the name Stacey Yervasi. She was our assistant managing editor back in, oh, 2007. Well, Stacey is one of 30 semifinalists in Vogue‘s American Beauty Contest. The skinny: “In celebration of the release of Claiborne Swanson Frank’s photographic book American Beauty (published by Assouline), readers told us how they exemplified modern American beauty for the chance to win the American Beauty Contest. … Vote for your favorite and the top ten finalists, with the most reader votes, will have the chance to win the Grand Prize — a trip to New York to have her portrait taken by Claiborne, a tour of the Assouline offices, an Estée Lauder makeover and gift package, plus a $1,500 Neiman Marcus gift card.” Vote hard and vote often.
