Give the Gift of Beer

A friend of a friend of mine has started a new company just in time for the holiday season, and the idea is so genius I don’t mind giving it a free plug, expecting nothing in return — not even a free sample — promise. The business: World Beer Company, based right here in Dallas. The idea: Beer. Specifically, it’s gift baskets (or buckets, rather) of beer. Rather than sending a friend, relative, or business associate a cookie bouquet or chocolates or whatever for any occasion, send a bucket of hard-to-find beers from around the world instead. Buy a five- or nine-pack that’s been pre-selected, or build your own. (And, yes, they have Miller High Life.) Brilliant.
