Being a ManiAAC is probably the more high-profile gig, but it also announces to the world that you’ve more or less given up and don’t plan to see a sit-up anytime soon. I kid. I (kinda sorta) know one of the ManiAACs — Dr. Rock, who also DJs at The Clubhouse. Did I spend eight hours there one night? Maybe. But it was for a story. The Dallas Mavericks are searching for a few larger-than-life personalities to join the 2007-08 Mavs ManiAACs, presented by Office Expo, to make a BIG impression at Mavs home games this season.
Men who are Mavs fanatics, beefy, love to dance and are at least 18 years of age are encouraged to audition. Men and women who are enthusiastic, want to show their Mavs spirit, and are at least 18 years of age are encouraged to apply. Some type of cheerleading, tumbling, stunting, jumping, or other acrobatic experience is preferred, as well as the ability to lead cheers and yells with unbridled enthusiasm.
