1. The Council noted, as D’s Rod Davis noted in a recent story, that the city is awash in stray dogs. They’d like to hire two more code enforcement types to help. Yeah, that should take care of the problem lickety-split.

2. There’s a really funny story on Pegasus News about Oak Point’s attempt to adopt an English-only resolution. The best part is the picture of the sign announcing in English and Spanish the opening of a church. The cutline notes that neither the reporter nor the Spanish-speaking photographer can decipher it. Triple giggle.

3. See, I’m confused. Because I thought that 2 Chronicles 30:9 suggests that if ye turn unto the Lord, the Lord thy God would be gracious and merciful, and He will NOT turn his face from ye. But the biblical scholars in High Point have a different reading, ‘specially if you’re happy gay.
