URBAN LIVING, LUXURIOUS-STYLE

|

What does this story in the DMN and the recent video clip called “Urban Pioneers Finding Home in Downtown” on KXAS have in common? If you answered “Um, it’s pretty obvious, Adam. I don’t even have to e-mail Tim my answer. Both items are about the trend of people moving downtown, even–and especially–if they’ve got kids,” well, you’d be mostly right. If you said, “Hey, don’t both of them prominently feature 1505 Elm St.,” you’d be even more right. And if you said, “Hey, didn’t you used to live in that building?” I’d say, “Yes. Yes, I did.”

But all of that just goes to prove that downtown condo living is as hot as it ever was. There are so many options for the prospective condo dweller. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was someone willing to give you an air-conditioned bus tour of (almost) all of them? And what if that person or company fed you at every stop along the way with delectable edibles from places like America’s, Campania, the Velvet Hookah, and more? That’d be pretty cool, wouldn’t it?

Why, lookie here. D Magazine‘s Second Annual Dallas Luxury Urban Living Tour is right around the corner. What luck. Check it out next weekend and expect a not-as-lengthy reminder next week.
