MORE ON JOE SIMPSON (AS IN “MORON”)

Did you ever stop to wonder why US Weekly had the scoop on the official Jessica and Nick break-up announcement when OK Magazine had that weird exclusivity contract with Jessica and Joe? Access Hollywood‘s Billy Bush has the answer (scroll down to November 24). Billy says Joe told him in an interview (at a Cheesecake Factory!) that he would never give the goods to US Weekly again after unflattering coverage of his daughter. But then, according to Billy, Joe realized just how unflattering coverage could–and would–be, in light of divorce proceedings. So Joe gave US Weekly the splitsville scoop as an olive branch. I doubt it will work.
