A magazine-working FBvian–who does not work at this magazine–passes along the following email:
“I lunched at Corner Bakery today (Preston & Forest location), and when I
noticed a gray umbrella and a valet-like stand in the parking lot, I
thought, “Valet? At Corner Bakery?” Turns out, it was the same Lexus deal you mentioned on the blog. But I was given a $15 Corner Bakery gift
certificate for doing a test drive. Were you not offered the same yummy
‘bribe?'”
No, no deal for me. Just a salmon salad for which I paid full price.
