SHAKESPEARE’S KEEPER: EVEN WILL WOULD HAVE LIKED IT

|

Glenn Arbery’s preview in our September print edition of FrontBurner predicted it, but you have to see it to believe it: Matthew Gray as Nathan Dabs, a disgruntled backstage employee at the Globe Theater, in Shakespeare’s Keeper. Last night was the play’s world premiere, and I was honored to be there. The premise is inspired, the script is hilarious, and, most of all, Matthew Gray’s acting is superb. It is such fun to see a great idea masterfully executed. This play will be famous. And Matthew Gray has created the role of a lifetime.
