The Mansion Is Off Limits For Locals Due To Chanel Until Thursday

|

Dropped by the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek last evening for a glass of Sauvignon and was told the entire facility “was closed” until Thursday. Was it the weather? Nope. It’s one of the designated hotels for Karl Lagerfeld and his Chanel invasion of celebs for Tuesday’s extravaganza, Métiers d’Art at Fair Park.

And were Karl and entourage safely ensconced in the luxury hotel? Nope, again. Hardly a soul was in sight. Seems the VIP’s arrivals have been put on hold as airlines try to thaw out their schedules.

Has anyone else noticed any other changes from the norm due to the Kaiser’s takeover of Dallas?
