Fort Worth chef and Food Network up-and-comer Tim Love has jumped aboard the burger bandwagon with the impishly named Love Shack, a walk-up burger stand in the heart of the Stockyards. Ignore the funky outdoor setting; tune out the wails of the singer-songwriters. Focus instead on the Dirty Love burger, made of tasty brisket and tenderloin, topped with a fried quail egg, and served on a soft Mrs. Baird’s roll. Chase it with the Shack’s milkshake, a different flavor every day, from chocolate-mint to fresh strawberry to mocha finely flecked with ground espresso beans.
