Mid-century modern enthusiasts Doug Taylor and Ed Sexton recently discovered and purchased more than 1,200 matched pairs of vintage Murano glass lamps languishing in a New Jersey warehouse. Like archeologists at a dig, the pair spent seven months carefully uncrating and documenting the cache. Matched pairs of Murano lamps from the 1930s to the 1960s are especially rare, and some are by master glass artisans Seguso, Venini, Barovier & Toso.
