If your locale has stopped you from learning how to sail–listen up. Sure, North Texas isn’t home to salt water and sand, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a place where you can feel the wind through your hair, the sun on your back and yell, “Ahoy matey!” White Rock Lake, Lake Lewisville and Lake Ray Hubbard (to name a few) all offer beginner sailing courses. Here, a few tips to get you out on the open water–no experience needed!
