Meredith Land may be a familiar face in your household, even though you probably haven’t met her — unless you two happen to take the same Pilates or spin class. A mother of two and the evening co-anchor on NBC 5 News, Land has little time for much else, but still makes an effort to stay healthy and active.

Her breakfast routine could have a lot to do with her abundant reserves of energy, but we can almost guarantee she winds down with a big bowl of her favorite macaroni and cheese after trying nights at work.

D Magazine: If you’ve got only 20 minutes to work out, what’s your routine?
Meredith Land: I would do half of a spin class. I am completely obsessed with spinning right now. I am drenched when I leave.

What’s your typical daily workout routine?
I try to take a spin class 2-3 times a week, and I mix in a reformer Pilates class once a week.

What’s your usual breakfast?
A good friend gave me this morning routine, and I love it. I drink a green juice for breakfast. I also make a concoction of water, two Emergen-Cs, liquid B12 vitamins, and chlorophyll. It sounds gross, but it keeps me healthy and fueled up for long days/nights at work.

What is your go-to cheat meal?
Macaroni and cheese. Didn’t even blink when you asked.

Name a song from your workout playlist.
Anything Justin Timberlake. But I take classes, so I don’t control the music.
