Healthy take-out food that actually tastes good.

The Austin-based healthy takeaway food concept is opening up permanent locations in Dallas in the next few weeks. Today and tomorrow, there is a pop-up location open in North Dallas at 12817 Preston Rd, Ste 129, on the south side of the shopping center. Entrees and juices are $3, and snacks are $1 through tomorrow.

Snap is known for its quick, fresh food and its cold-pressed juice program. All kitchens are free of common allergens, including wheat and nuts, and there is a focus on organic, local produce. Menu items range from breakfast scrambles and salads to lasagna and cheesecake.

I checked it out, and I have to say I was impressed. The food is ready-made, but is obviously freshly prepared, and the staff is knowledgeable about the ingredients and process behind the food. I recommend the Grassfed Bison Quinoa Hash! Check it out. Once the pop-up closes Tuesday afternoon (it’s open 9 AM – 5 PM), you’ll have to wait for the permanent locations to open (and pay regular prices). We’ll keep you updated on those dates and locations.
