Phil Dyer Harry LaRosiliere , the mayor of Plano, must be jumping for joy right now.
His city is blowing up with restaurants. Specifically, that intersection at Park and Preston is becoming a little hotbed made of dining-out dreams.
Female powerhouse and restaurateur, Dee Lincoln, is opening a second Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar at 4701 West Park Boulevard. It’s in between Preston and Ohio. The menu will have a few more creative burgers added to it, and there’ll be a huge 80-seated dining room, an open kitchen, patio, and outdoor lounge.
Dee Lincoln is joining a growing list of restaurateurs who are viewing Plano as the go-to suburb for expansion.
We first saw Park and Preston transform into a mini-version of Dallas once Trader Joe’s opened across the street from Paciugo’s in 2012. Katy Trail Ice House Outpost came a year later in 2013, giving Plano people a chill spot to hang out after 10 p.m. Last week, the owners of Smoke have announced that they’ll be taking over the Snuffer’s space in front of TJ’s.
With the addition of Dee Lincoln’s Steak & Burger Bar, Plano will have more than enough awesome food options at Preston and Park. La Madeleine and Corner Bakery will need to get used to their fall from popularity.
Because cool kids are moving there.
