Lakewood Village is a small community on the banks of Lake Lewisville that is located approximately 47 minutes Northwest from downtown Dallas. You’ll likely associate it with Little Elm, and it is serviced by Little Elm ISD. Now that we’ve saved you a Google search let’s get to the actual listing and why it’s a diamond in the rough. And by rough, we simply mean that luxury lakefront living in North Texas isn’t exactly the norm.

The 2004 construction located at 735 Carrie Lane in The Shores of Lakewood Village was constructed in 2004 and is situated on a gorgeous 1.4-acre, waterfront lot. The lush landscaping includes healthy grass, mature trees, and sophisticated shrubbery. The only thing that rivals the manicured lawn and lot are the potential sunrises and sunsets that will truly take your breath away.

Despite the traditional red brick exterior, the inside has been thoughtfully updated and painted to present a modern take on a charming waterfront abode. It has all of the cool and calming colors you’d expect from a luxury property by the water, and you just might forget that you are in North Texas if you sit in the family room and cuddle up on the couch with a cup of tea looking at the fire. The luxury lighting is also an added bonus and saves the new homeowner the tedious process of replacing them one by one.

The property boasts five bedrooms, one of which is a first-floor guest retreat with a spacious walk-in closet, full bathroom, and direct access to the patio to soak up all of the views they came to stay with you for. Hey, the truth hurts. The master bedroom is located upstairs and features a walkout balcony and his and her vanities and closets. The three additional bedrooms are perfect for children, and there is even a game room.

And as you might imagine, a home with this type of a water view is bound to have a plethora of outdoor activities to enjoy. Whether or not you are a “lake person,” we can guarantee that you will become an outdoor person thanks to this property and its spacious, covered patio. There is also a pergola perfect for hosting happy hours and meals. The pool is one of the only ways to cool off after a long, Texas summer day.

Oh, and remember those guests we mentioned earlier in the post? Yeah, there’s a long driveway made especially for providing extra parking for them. Because trust us, anyone who lives in this house is going to have a lot of them. Most of which will be from the Dallas city limits.
