For a delicious dose of comfort food, look no further than Southlake’s Redrock Canyon Grill. Located at 2221 E. Southlake Blvd. in the Kimball Oaks Center, Redrock specializes in freshly made home-style favorites like hardwood grilled ribeye steak, signature Persimmon Hill Meatloaf, lightly fried catfish and so much more.

Featuring a large open kitchen as its centerpiece, the restaurant thrives on hustle and bustle. The energy in the air is truly palpable, and the ambience is just as much a part of the experience as is the scratch-made food.

“We have so many moving parts inside of this restaurant. It creates an environment unlike anything else,” said Jeremy Brim, Area Partner.

Whether you’re taking the kids out to dinner, enjoying a much-needed date night or meeting up with co-workers, you’ll find something at Redrock that’s guaranteed to fit your specific tastes.

Whether you’re taking the kids out to dinner, enjoying a much-needed date night or meeting up with co-workers, you’ll find something at Redrock that’s guaranteed to fit your specific tastes. They’re particularly noted for their daily social hour from 4 PM until 6 PM, with a list that includes $2 domestic bottles, $4 drafts, $5 featured wines and $6 classic cocktails like Manhattans, margaritas and the Ultimate Bloody Mary (it’s garnished with a full shrimp). Plus, starters are just $7; we highly suggest their Fried Calamari with garlic aioli and roasted tomato salsa or the Dip Duo with jalapeño pimento cheese, guacamole and hand-cut tortilla chips.

Speaking of tortilla chips, it’s worth noting the southwest flair woven throughout Redrock’s menu. Go for their “Texas” Stuffed Poblano Pepper loaded with rotisserie chicken and topped with chipotle sour cream, black bean salsa and salsa verde. Or, if you’re in the mood for something heavier, try their Steak & Enchilada Platter with seasoned strip steak and a cheesy chicken enchilada. If you haven’t caught on yet, satisfaction is the name of the game at Redrock.

“The Redrock brand associates itself with wonderful people and wonderful guests,” Brim said. “Attention to detail is in everything we do. Hopefully you leave and feel like you didn’t want for anything and can’t wait to come back and join us again.”

If you’ve already experienced what Redrock has to offer at lunch or dinner, then be sure to give the restaurant a try during brunch. Served Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM until 3 PM, the menu features classics like migas, huevos rancheros, French toast and an incredible breakfast quesadilla served with housemade chipotle sour cream. Our favorite dish just might be the Chicken Pot Pie; served in a personal-sized rectangular skillet, the flakey pie is packed with juicy rotisserie chicken, carrots, peas and red potatoes. It’s available in limited quantities, so be sure to make an early reservation via OpenTable. Pairs great with their $3 mimosas!

We also love that Redrock is incredibly accommodating of dietary restrictions. They offer a separate gluten free menu, and many items can be made vegetarian- or vegan-friendly upon request. Just let your server know about your specific needs.
