Tuesday Trend: Give Peace a Chance

|
Image

This post will most likely concern my dad. You see, when I decided to go to the University of Texas, my dad immediatly began to dread the day I would return home a tree-hugging, tie-dye wearing hippie. I guess Austin tends to have that effect on people. Well dad, it is safe to say that I survived the influences of Austin (although I did buy a tie-dye dress once), but I am a big fan of the peace sign and the vibe it adds to an interior. This noteworthy trend is popping up on all sorts of interior staples, at both posh and discount reatilers. Here are my favorite finds:

Fornasetti T&V Peace Sign Decorative Plate; $230 at Barneys New York.

Peace Rug; $299 at CB2.

Peace/Love Pillow (heart on the other side); $98 at Jonathan Adler.
