Shibori is an ancient Japanese term for dyeing cloth. Using natural dyes like indigo, the technique produces blue tones on cotton and silk fabrics. Similar to tie-dye, it involves binding, twisting, folding, and compressing. Instructor Sarita Westrup will lead this class in dyeing tea towels and handkerchiefs. Sign up fast—this workshop is limited to a small number of participants. oilandcotton.com
