What The Owner Says: When I found Randy off the Dallas streets just over a year ago, he was malnourished and in very poor shape. I was hesitant to keep him at the time because I lived in an apartment, but he warmed my heart, and I knew there was no way I could let him go. Since then, he has been nurtured back to health and brightens the world of every single person he meets. I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but I have witnessed it on numerous accounts. Even non-dog lovers love him, and say “Randy would be the only dog I’d own.” He plays great with other dogs and has no problem curling up on anyone’s lap. This summer, while I was out of town, the person who was watching him accidentally left the gate open, and he went out. He tried to cross a very busy Mockingbird Lane and was hit by a car. He was in critical care for four days. Not knowing his outcome was one of the scariest moments for me, my family, and close friends. I’m proud to say he made a full recovery and is healthier and happier than ever. I never knew one dog could make such a significant impact on my life and the lives of others. He loves to entertain, whether it’s showing you his 360-degree spin jumps or pounding your fist when you ask him “where do the dogs go?” Randy is always ready to make a new friend and show everyone unconditional love.
