There’s something almost magic about the Ritz Carlton. Perhaps it’s the hotel chain’s long legacy of luxury. Maybe it’s the glitzy Roaring 20s-esque setting and the stunning design of the Dallas hotel by Robert A. M. Stern Architects. Either way, one night at the Ritz will have you wishing you could spend all your nights there.

And now a certain someone can. In this week’s Hot Property, we’re exploring the Ritz Carlton Dallas’s massive 5,666-square-foot penthouse apartment, which is on sale for a cool $8.9 million and includes just about every luxury you can imagine.

Let’s start with the amenities: There’s 24-hour valet, concierge, and room services at your beck and call. Plus, there’s all-night security on site and when you get home from the store, hotel staff will even unload your groceries.

“It’s Ritz Carlton-standard services,” listing agent Blake Eltis says. “It’s nice because you when come home, you don’t have to do anything.”

The penthouse takes over the entire 22nd floor of the Ritz’s all-residential Tower 2, which has its own pool and gym that hotel guests cannot access. A sky bridge to Tower 1 drops you right in front of the recently renovated 12,000 square-foot spa.

The Tower 2 lobby also has a wine cellar with lockers for each resident and a rentable lounge. The elevator drops you off in a private vestibule just outside the penthouse. The hallway features granite casings around the doors and herringbone quarter sawn white oak flooring, just a hint of what’s inside.

“They spared no expense to get the place finished at the highest level,” Eltis says.

The walls are finished with marble plaster, and there are marble arches into the dining room and library. The penthouse has “views in every direction,” Eltis says, but if you want to block out the light, there are motorized Lutron roller shades on all the windows.

The ceilings are suede leather, all the vents have bronze coverings, and there are custom aluminum doors with Bendheim colored glass and laminated glass panels.

“The doorknobs are like $1,000 a piece,” Eltis says.

Each of the home’s four bedrooms has its own en-suite, and the two master en-suites takes “his and hers” to a whole new level.

And if you want some outdoor time, just relax on one of the penthouse’s three terraces.
