Charles Faudree has published his fifth book aptly named Details and will be signing copies at an anniversary cocktail party on Thursday, Oct. 27, 5—8, at Antique Row, 5013 Lovers Lane. This is why you should be interested: he’s got about the best grasp of comfortable country French style around, and I’m seeing this new/old style of comfort and layering having a huge comeback right now. Also, if you like dogs, specifically Cavalier King Charles spaniels, you are bound to see them as statues, on fabrics, pictures; might even get to meet the real stars who bark, because Faudree’s beloved spaniels are his muse. And, there will be delicious bites, wine, and a chance to do a little pre-holiday shopping.
