On November 28, nearly 300 healthcare executives, practitioners, volunteers, and innovators gathered at On the Levee in the design district to celebrate the finalists and honorees in D CEO’s 2023 Excellence in Healthcare Awards.
Guests enjoyed a networking cocktail hour before taking their seats for dinner and a special awards program. This year, 18 awards were presented. Award categories ranged from company recognitions such as Achievement in Healthcare Innovation and Achievement in Community Outreach to individual honors such as Outstanding Hospital Executive and Outstanding Healthcare Advocate.
Awards were presented by Editor of D CEO, Christine Perez, and Healthcare Editor of D CEO, Will Maddox, alongside Anthony Placencio, of RSM, and Coleman Moore, of Commerce Bank. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dr. R. Steven Paulson, longtime CEO of Texas Oncology.
