Southwest Transplant Alliance said Wednesday that it has promoted Jo Ann Arias to vice president of human resources. Arias is the former lead of human resources strategy and operations who came over to STA from Dallas-based Methodist Health System in 2009.
At STA, which is one of the largest organ procurement organizations in the U.S., she’s helped establish the non-profit’s professional development program. At Methodist, Arias was the corporate director of HR.
She earned her undergraduate degree and master’s from Texas Women’s University.
