EECU Credit Union, a Fort Worth-based credit union, has hired Tim Burch as chief information officer. In his new role, Burch will oversee all technology and information management, as well as supervise the development of new banking technologies. Prior to joining EECU, Burch served as vice president of technology services at NASA Federal Credit Union in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Plano-based IT services firm GuideIT has named Chuck Lyles its new CEO, an announcement that stems from the company’s increased focus on the healthcare industry. Lyles is the former president of GuideIT’s healthcare solutions division. Prior to joining GuideIT, which was founded last year by five former EDS and Perot Systems leaders, Lyles founded Lyles Consulting Inc., served as vice president at Dell, and worked for 10 years in various capacities at Perot Systems.

Transwestern has added Don Farmer as managing director of its capital markets group, where Farmer will be responsible for the origination, structuring, and placement of real estate debt financing for clients in the central region. Prior to joining Transwestern, Farmer held positions at Financial Federal Bank, FL Advisory Group, and Bridger Commercial Funding. He is a graduate of Auburn University.
