I sure hope this gloom lets up soon. In the meantime, I recommend indoor activities.

Tonight, Bon Jovi returns to the American Airlines Center for a stop on the band’s appropriately-named “Because We Can” tour.  On a related note, Jon Bon Jovi seems like the nicest dude. He just walked one of his fans down the aisle for her wedding in Las Vegas. So freaking cute. Anyway, if you’re feeling inspired, you can still get tickets online via Ticketmaster.

Other concert options this evening include Kid Cudi at Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie. The rapper is here with Big Sean and Logic, supporting his new release Indicud. There are a few tickets left.

Finally, there’s the WaterTower Theatre’s production of Hank Williams: Lost Highway, which is about what it sounds like. This biographical musical takes from Williams’ humble beginnings in backwater Alabama to the bright, less forgiving lights of Nashville. Our critic, Lindsey Wilson, calls it a remarkable performance, with all those songs you know and love—”Hey Good Lookin'” and “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,”—at the heart of the show. Try the Addison location of Dream Cafe for dinner and drinks.
