The Reunion Lawn Party is on for June 27, starting at 5 p.m. Recall that May’s inaugural launch was delayed by a little rain. Attending trucks include Flatlanders Tacos, Easy Slider, Parrot Icce, Curbside Crickles, Mad Grill, Ruthies, The Butchers Son, Jacks Chowhound, Best Bayou Bites, and Bellatrino Pizza.
Colleyville’s annual Red, White, and Sousa takes place on June 26 and includes Easy Slider, Jack’s Chowhound, Trailercakes, SoCal Tacos, Ruthies, What’s Da Scoop, and Gepetto’s Pizza.
We’ve learned that Rockstar Bakeshop is up and rolling again with new owner, Emily Guynes. While formerly a truck featuring whoopie pies, Emily has greatly expanded the menu to include a more traditional pastry menu. Rockstar has been a favorite of mine since the original launch by Kristin and Denver Leonard. I’m happy to see it thrive.
