The boys behind Boulevardier and Veritas are adding restaurant number three to their portfolio. The new restaurant, Raspscallion, will be a Southern bistro based on chef/owner Nathan Tate’s culinary style. Tate looks to pair a homey, neighborhood-friendly atmosphere with his Southern-style cuisine. The menu will feature premium proteins from a custom J&R Wood Grill and Wood-Fired Rotisserie.
Boulevardier’s Eddie Eakin will head up the Rapscallion Spirits and Cocktails Menu. Eddie’s Bar at Rapscallion will serve a variety of whiskeys, mezcals, and tequilas.
The bistro will be situated between Trader Joe’s and The Libertine on Greenville Ave. The wine list will be created by Bradley and Brooks Anderson, owners of Veritas Wine Room and co-owners of Boulevardier along with Chef Nate. Rapscallion is slated to open sometime in the first half of 2015.
