Chef Andre Natera, photo by Danny Fulgencio - dannyfulgencio.comTalented chef Andre Natera, who cheffed at the Pyramid Restaurant and Bar and recently at Village Kitchen until it closed last week, is leaving Dallas. He’s headed to Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin where he will oversee all seven restaurants on the property. Natera will leave Dallas in mid-April. Until then, he is still working with his former bosses Brian Twomey and Mark Hearl  on menu development for their new projects and he’s cooking dinner at Battuto Italian Kitchen next Tuesday night. “Mark and Brian are like family to me,” Natera said. “But this is a great opportunity for me.”

What a loss for Dallas.
