No Love From Love: Tim Love IS Appearing On Top Chef Masters

tim_loveBack in February, I read on Feedbag that Lonesome Dove chef/owner Tim Love might be appearing on Top Chef Masters, Bravo’s new Top Chef spinoff, in which well-known chefs battle each other instead of up-and-coming ones. I was excited. I called Tim Love. “Nope, I’m not going to be appearing on this show,” he said. Read all about it here.

Fast forward to today, when I read that yes indeedy, Love will be on the show. His pretty little picture and everything is up on Bravo’s website. This makes me scratch my head. Was confidentiality the reason for the shut out, Tim? I would have expected a response more in line with, “I can’t comment on that right now,” instead of a flat-out denial, if that were the case. Just curious. I’m still psyched for this show (especially to see Wylie Dufresne, Anita Lo, and judge Gael Greene), but…huh.

Either way, can’t wait to blog about it. The fun begins June 10.
