into the weekend

|

It’s quite fitting after my post earlier this week about other cultures and traditions that the Crow Collection is hosting a family day this Saturday with plenty of kids activities to honor the Chinese New Year. Count us in.

I have it in mind to enroll my four-year-old in theater classes this summer and noticed that the Dallas Theater Center opened registration (already!) for summer classes that will be held at the Wyly Theater. On that note, the musical production of Giant is also on stage at the Wyly through Feb. 19 which could make for a good date night. Admittedly, it hasn’t gotten the most stellar reviews but sometimes you just have to go see for yourself.

And on Sunday we just might have to head over to Hypnotic Donuts to check out James St. Peter’s crazy concoctions. A donut with peanut butter, bacon, banana, honey? Sounds more like a trip to the State Fair…but I’m game.
