As one of the only women-owned and women-led business publications in the country, D CEO uniquely understands the critical need to develop women leaders in one’s own backyard. The first-ever D CEO Emerging Women Leadership Network aims to do just that.

Starting this week, more than 55 emerging leaders will participate in a new hybrid six-month personal and professional development program, created and led by D Magazine Partners’ executives Gillea Allison and Noelle LeVeaux.

“When we surveyed the landscape, it became clear that there was a need to create a program entirely focused on the unique challenges of emerging women leaders in the region,” says Noelle LeVeaux, group publisher of D Magazine Partners. “By leveraging D CEO’s vast network and access to the C-Suite, we hope to be the bridge between our members and the region’s most influential women business and civic leaders.”

This program will build on the momentum sparked by D CEO’s Women’s Leadership Symposium, now in its eighth year. From September 2023 to March 2024, participants will hear from the region’s best coaches, leadership consultants, and subject matter experts on topics ranging from mental health to negotiation skills and personal finance.

“In the spirit of providing access, members will hear and learn from leadership coaches whose services are sometimes only reserved for the C-Suite,” says Gillea Allison, president of D Magazine Partners. “We pride ourselves on creating the best programming and content for our audiences, and EWLN’s 10 workshops will reflect that same level of quality and intentionality.”

Additionally, the program offers one key benefit that is certain to have an impact; each member will be paired with a top North Texas female executive who will serve as a mentor for the duration of the program. They range from CEOs of the region’s companies and nonprofits to successful entrepreneurs and small business owners. You can view the impressive list of participating mentors here.
