Mark Torok has taken the helm of Hartman REIT, succeeding former CEO Allen R. Hartman, who will serve as executive chairman. The REIT has invested in commercial properties in Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas. Torok previously served as chief operating officer at Hartman. Prior to that, he ran Southern Star Self Storage Investment Co. as CEO and CLO for more than a year.

Adam Jackson, Chief Investment Officer

Adam Jackson has been promoted from executive managing director of investment management to become Stream’s first ever chief investment officer. Jackson Stream in 2008, working in various aspects of the business before launching the investment management platform in 2015 and leading its growth to what it is today. He has led approximately $4 billion of acquisitions and developments totaling 30 million square feet. In his new role, he will continue to oversee the firm’s investment initiatives.

Pam Presswood, Chief Information Officer

In her new position as Fort Worth-based Valor’s first chief information officer, Pam Presswood will help manage all IT initiatives, including cybersecurity—one of her key specialties. Presswood most recently served as vice president of information systems for Luther King Capital Management, a financial and investment services firm with multiple offices in Texas. She spent over 25 years with the company, first at the director level, before eventually being promoted to the vice-presidential position.

Josh Diekman, Director of Culinary and Executive Chef

Prior to joining Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Josh Diekman served as the corporate executive chef at Land O‘Lakes, where he was responsible for menu development, operational procedures, and trend analysis. Before that he was the corporate executive chef at Nestlé, where he partnered with restaurants such as Fuzzy’s, Chili’s Grill & Bar, TGI Fridays, Bar Louie, and more to develop trend-based menu applications using their products.

Emily Hoffman, Senior Vice President

As senior vice president, Emily Hoffman will focus on office tenant representation at Colliers. She previously served as as an office tenant rep at Cushman & Wakefield for more than 10 years and has been in the industry for more than 16 years. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Hoffman held roles at BOKA Powell and TIG Real Estate Services.

Ben Terry, Vice President and Director of Portfolio Leasing

In his new role, Ben Terry will supervise the leasing team and project representation for retail properties. He will also work to attract tenant prospects, handle associate recruitment and training, offer market insights, and handle reporting to portfolio ownership. He previously served as director of real estate for Orange County-based Kimco, where he oversaw a brokerage team responsible for an open-air shopping center portfolio totaling 4.4 million square feet and valued at more than $1 billion.

Jennie Viswanath, Managing Director of Business Development

In her new role, Jennie Viswanath will help expand the firm’s DFW network. Prior to leaving retirement to join Hart, Viswanath was senior vice president at City Bank, where she oversaw regional operations, expansions, and acquisitions for more than 22 years.

Jacob Williamson, Cullinary Director

Jacob Williamson has trained under the nation’s most critically acclaimed chefs, including Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Stephan Pyles, and Wolfgang Puck. He was part of the team that first opened Puck’s Dallas restaurant, Five Sixty, in 2008. Now, he will manage culinary programs for all of Las Vegas-based Hooper Hospitality Concepts Texas concepts. The company is set to open two restaurants in DFW in 2023.
