Even though it was built less than two years ago, the cost increases for materials, land, and labor would make5736 Stonegate “hard to replicate,” according to listing agent Becky Frey.
Finished in 2020 on a quarter-acre lot in Devonshire, the contemporary home has plenty going for it. Just off the kitchen is a “butler’s workspace” with a wine fridge. “When you entertain, you can have a bartender there,” says Frey, or you can just use it as an extended prep space.
Other features include marble counters in the bathrooms, electronic blinds, custom drapery, floor-to-ceiling storage closets, and flush-mounted speakers inside and outside.
“It’s just a custom-feeling house,” Frey says. “It doesn’t feel like a spec house.”
It has a large backyard, with a cedar-roofed covered patio and firepit. There are multiple seating areas and a built-in grill. A tall stained-cedar fence adds a layer of privacy. And there is plenty of parking. Besides the two-car garage, the front drive has space for four vehicles.
Its location is also special, says Frey. Devonshire is a “homey-feeling neighborhood,” with a nice mix of ages and easy access to the Dallas North Tollway. Plus, “there’s so many places you can just walk to,” Frey says. The house is only a mile from Inwood Village, which has plenty of shops and places to eat, like Eatzi’s and Mesero.
