Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported a four-day total of 9,381 new COVID-19 cases and nine deaths on Wednesday.
There were 4,082 patients in North Texas hospitalized with COVID-19 on Wednesday, representing 27 percent of all beds, and a slight decrease yesterday. The adult ICU patients represent 45.8 percent of all ICU patients.

UT Southwestern’s modeling predicts that North Texas will hit a record high for hospitalized patients with COVID-19, the Dallas Morning News reports. On Tuesday, there were 4,110 regional patients hospitalized with COVID-19, just a few dozen shy of the pick last January.
