Central Market to Open Two More Dallas Locations

Bluffview and Uptown are the lucky neighborhoods.

Who loves the Preston Royal location of Central Market as much as I do? It’s the perfect size for a neighborhood market with tons of prepared food for busy people on the go (read: singles who don’t cook).

The lucky people near Bluffview will soon be able to swing in for chicken salad or fresh guacamole in early 2018. The store at Midway and Northwest Highway is already under renovation. I can’t tell you when the lucky people in Uptown will have their own store. The property at McKinney and Lemmon Avenue is still on the drawing table.
If you are in the mood for a press release quote, here you go: “We are excited to expand our Central Market footprint in the Dallas area, and these two stores will certainly be foodie destinations,” says Mabrie Jackson, Director of Public Affairs, Central Market.

Oh my ears. It was a perfect world until she said “foodie.” Can we renovate that word, please?
