Come on, you can’t possibly look at this mess of blue confetti with two lovely ladies from Seifert Murphy and not wonder what in the heck they are doing. I’m not sure what the end result will be, but they, along with fourteen other contract design firms, will partner with textiles from a contract manufacturer and transform a plain jane straight backed Ikea chair into a thing of beauty. The event Life of Design will take place October 14 at Cityplace from 7:30 -11:30. Should be a fun evening, contact the Dallas NEWH chapter for info about tickets, all proceeds will go to the scholarship fund for local students aspiring to a life in contract design. And please let me know how this chair turns out.
