Be sure to pay attention to what happens now that Farmers Branch has passed its illegal immigration ordinance. First, everyone’s rental money will go to Carrollton, which has already begun. My favorite quote in that story:
Then the construction worker added, “Are the white guys out there working in the sun?”
I think we all know the answer to that. It’s, uh, no.
Second, there will be lots of lawsuits and restraining orders that FB will have to pay to defend itself against, most of which they will not win. In fact, they’ve already begun. And, if you’re an apartment manager in Farmers Branch, you may want to review some of the 29 documents with which you’ll need to familiarize yourself if you’re to determine if someone is an undocumented immigrant.
