This is one of my favorite events of the year. I love to peruse the aisles at Central Market and stock my freezer with goodies. This year’s celebration takes place from Wednesday, Aug. 10 through Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016. Central Market is readying to receive 125 tons of Hatch chilies. All locations will feature Hatch-infused entrees, appetizers and desserts. The Cooking Schools will host all kinds of cooking classes ranging from roasting to baking and wine pairing instruction.
Expect to see these new items:
Stuffed Hatch Brisket and Cheddar Burger
Hatch Bacon-wrappped Cheese Stuffed Pork Tenderloi
Hatch Chorizo
Hatch Lime Pound Cake
Hatch Pozole
Absinthe and Hatch Chile Salami
Little Big Farm Hatch Pancake Mix
Hatch Biscuit Mix
Z’Licious Hatch Popcorn
