I just learned that Karol Wilson, a longtime Dallas public relations professional, passed away last night. Wilson suffered from a long-term illness. She was 57.
Wilson was a dedicated pet lover, philanthropist, and member of Les Dames d’Escoffier, a group of women in the culinary and hospitality industry. Her influence in the Dallas food community will be sorely missed.

“Karol’s memorial services will be some time in June. In addition, I thought I would let you all know that Karol passed away from kidney and liver failure about 10:30 pm on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Parkland hospital. She was surrounded by friends.”
