The Cedars Social Hosts Chef Sara Horowitz for Special Beer Dinner

Dallas, Texas (October 13, 2011) – The Cedars Social will host a Shiner Beer Dinner prepared by Hell’s Kitchen Chef Sara Horowitz on Monday, October 17 from 6pm to close. Each dish in the three dishes will be paired with and prepared using Shiner beer, and the cuisine will be upscale comfort food, following the theme of the restaurant.  Diners may order one, two or all three of the dishes and prices will range from $9 to $19.  To make reservations or inquire further, please call The Cedars Social 214.928.7700.

Appetizer:

Shiner Light Hushpuppy Shrimp with Shine Hefeweizen Apple Slaw served in a Crispy Potato Basket, paired with Shiner Blonde

Entrée:

Filet Mignon with Shiner Blonde Tempura Onion Rings Mopped with A-102 Brew Sauce, with Haricots Verts& Cranberry Wild Rice Pilaf, paired with Shiner Oktoberfest

Dessert:

Gingerbread Ice Cream & Fudge Napolean Infused with Shiner Holiday Cheer Dripping with Cinnamon Agave Nectar & Peppermint Candies, paired with Shiner Holiday Cheer Beer

Sara was a standout finalist on the second season of FOX’s “Hell’s Kitchen” battling out  reknown evil Chef Gordon Ramsey with true grit, and she was second runner up in The National BBQ Championship Series on Versus Network in 2006 fighting her way as a Wild Card gone dark horse to beat the Big Dogs of the National BBQ circuit.
