Who she is: Dallas native, 2013 Co-Chair of Chi Omega Christmas Market, and mom of 2-year-old twins.

Why we love her: For helping helm one of Dallas’ most beloved holiday fundraisers.

Herewith a peek into Kelly’s world…

Always in her handbag: Hand sanitzer, LOLLIA shea butter hand creme in Imagine, my husband’s 30-year-old matchbox cars (my son’s obsession), Cascadian Farm organic peanut butter chocolate chip chewy granola bars (for me, not for my kids), Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1, and…Boogie Wipes.

Her go-to outfit: Skinny jeans, a flowy top, big earrings, big sunglasses, and Tory Burch flats

On her nightstand: I can’t divulge the latest celebrity memoir that I just read in lieu of the stack of parenting books collecting dust on my nightstand, because it’s just too shameful… But when I’m not reading guilty pleasures (like said memoir), I enjoy historical fiction novels by my favorite author, Philippa Gregory, as well as titles most likely to be made into movies starring Kate Hudson or Rachel McAdams.

In heavy rotation: I’m a bit of a teeny-bopper at heart, so I have some very cliché pop music in heavy rotation on my iPhone, but secretly, my favorite musicians are indie singer/songwriter types like Joshua Radin. Also, I can never get enough show tunes, and I could listen to Christmas music year round. As a mom to two antsy little ones, though, I listen to a lot of kiddie music and always marvel at how far I drive when I’m in the car by myself before I realize that I’m absentmindedly singing along to “Silly Songs with Larry!”

Her mealtime haunts: My favorite meal is brunch (what’s not to love about sugary carbs?!), and, in my opinion, no one does brunch better than Breadwinners. Anywhere that brings baked goods to my table the minute I sit down no matter the time of day is #1 in my book. My favorite spot for family dinner is anywhere we can get great food and be in and out before someone has a meltdown. Our go-to is usually Village Burger Bar!

Favorite outing with the littles: Getting out and about can be quite a challenge with 2-year old twins that are always going in opposite directions! I don’t want to miss out on all the fun though, so if we’re not with Daddy, then I just make sure to venture out with a close mommy friend who is willing to keep an eye on one while I chase down the other! We love going to the Arboretum, the Dallas Zoo and checking out the play places in the malls all over the city. I’m game for any place that can accommodate my double-wide stroller! My favorite play dates are at friends’ houses though- somewhere baby-proofed and kid friendly where I can really let my guard down!
