Chan Marshall, otherwise known as Cat Power, is best known for her signature lo-fi blues rock vibe and raspy vocals. Her heartfelt songwriting skills have earned her critical acclaim and even her neo-grunge fashion sense has been embraced by the likes of Marc Jacobs and Karl Lagerfeld. Her latest effort, Sun, released last year and is the long-awaited ninth album from her catalog. It includes all new original material recorded while Marshall was getting sober and reportedly recovering from a break-up with actor Giovanni Ribisi. Even so, the lyrics have tones of empowerment, solidarity, and truth, further showing Marshall’s uncanny ability to make lemons out of lemonade.

We have a pair of tickets to see the Atlanta native at South Side Music Hall on Friday, if you can answer this question: Marshall’s last album released in 2008. What was it called?
