Brad Adams, President and Chief Executive Officer

Brad Adams was named Patti Niles’ successor at the beginning of 2022 and has served as the Dallas-based organ procurement organization’s president since, while Niles remained the organization’s CEO. Now, he takes the helm. As the organization’s new CEO, Adams is focused on the organization’s people and its culture, acting as a catalyst for donation in Texas, and addressing inequities in donation. He has already dedicated resources, tools, and programs to equalize opportunities for donation and transplantation, and on driving a national conversation around an efficient and effective donation system. Adams joined Southwest Transplant Alliance in 2015 and has held a variety of roles, including executive vice president, chief administrative officer, and general counsel. In his first year as president, Adams guided STA to record levels of donation in 2022.

SWK Holdings

Jody Staggs, President and Chief Executive Officer

Life science-focused finance company SWK Holdings, which specializes in catering to small and mid-size commercial companies, has recently removed the interim title on Jody Staggs CEO title. Staggs has previously helped advance several key initiatives for the company, including closing multiple financings, improving the company’s credit facility, and further strengthening and developing its team. Staggs joined SWK in 2015 as vice president and has risen through the ranks to hold its top leadership post. Prior to that, he served as vice president of investments for Annandale Capital.

Laurie Dotter, Chair of the Board of Directors

Laurie Dotter joined SWK’s board as an independent director in February 2022 and serves on the compensation, audit, and governance committees. She also serves in advisory or board roles at the Employee Retirement System of Texas, Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company, and Stratus Properties. Some of her prior roles include president of Transwestern Investment Group; founding partner of Corporate Properties Trust I, II and III; executive investment officer at Hunt Oil Co.’s real estate investment arm; director of real estate investments at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas; and director of financial consulting services at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Carol Pierce Goglia, President and Chief Executive Officer

Carol Pierce Goglia comes to Catch Up & Read from fellow Dallas-based nonprofit United to Learn, where she served as president then strategic impact advisor. While she was at United to Learn, Pierce Goglia led the education nonprofit to double its footprint and expanded its partnerships from 27 to 50 Dallas ISD elementary schools. Prior to that, she served as senior director of marketing and communications at Dallas-based Communities Foundation of Texas. She also previously held a leadership roles for Frito Lay and served as a legislative aide for the U.S. House of Representatives.

Matt Schroeder, Dallas Office Managing Partner

Matt Schroeder joined the Dallas office of Miami-based law firm Akerman in 2018 and has risen to its top leadership post for the region. As office managing partner, Schroeder will continue serving clients while strengthening Akerman’s relationships with leaders in the Dallas market and guiding the firm’s strategic direction locally. He will also facilitate local and regional connections, and advance the firm’s goals. As an attorney, Schroeder represents insurance companies in litigation with significant exposure claims. He advises these clients on policy coverage issues and disputes, as well as environmental regulatory compliance and preventive measures to mitigate future risks.

United Way of Tarrant County

Regina R. Williams, Chief Impact Officer and Executive Vice President

In her new role, Regina R. Williams will lead investments of UWTC’s financial and non-financial resources to improve outcomes for individuals and families in Tarrant County. Williams will provide leadership, vision and direction for community outreach, allocations, volunteer engagement, and supervision of veteran and tax assistance programs and regional offices. Prior to the promotion, Williams served as vice president of community investment and regional director of United Way of Tarrant County-Arlington since 2018.

Buckner Retirement Services

Michael Olmstead, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President

In his new role, Michael Olmstead will oversee operations of faith-based, nonprofit senior living provider Buckner Retirement Services. He will also help create and implement new processes and strategies. He previously served as vice president of operations for Ascension Living, where he led an operations team responsible for 34 communities in 11 states and Washington D.C.

Rhonda Anderson, Chief Human Resources Officer

Rhonda Anderson joined Primoris in 2021 as senior vice president of human resources and has guided the company through a transformation to strengthen the services it provides. As chief human resources officer, she will continue to oversee Primoris’ H.R., with responsibilities including total rewards, talent management, and human resources processes and operations.

Mason Parham focuses his practice on commercial disputes, including oil and gas and energy-related claims, securities and shareholder litigation, and M&A disputes in both state and federal courts and before arbitral tribunals. He joined Sidley’s Dallas office in 2013 as a complex commercial litigation associate and is part of 44 newly elected partners.

Also part of Sidley’s most recent group of elected partners, Natali Wyson represents clients in state and federal courts nationwide, as well as arbitral tribunals in a wide range of commercial dispute. Some of her cases have centered around misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, corporate raiding, high-stakes employment matters, data breach and privacy, investigations, product liability, securities and securities litigation, bankruptcy, and other high-risk business disputes. She joined Sidley’s Dallas office in 2013 as an associate.

Michelle Moos has been serving as interim executive director for Dallas-based nonprofit law firm Legal Hospice of Texas since April 2022, and now, she will take the title full-time. Prior to joining Legal Hospice of Texas, Moos served as strategic operational partner for CWT Meetings and Events. In her new role, she will guide Legal Hospice of Texas as it addresses the health related, civil legal needs of low-income individuals diagnosed with a terminal illness or HIV-disease.

PGA of America

Paul Earnest, Director of Golf and Operations

In his new role, Paul Earnest will lead all golf and club functions and operations at PGA’s new Frisco facility, including the guest and membership experience, golf events, two of its golf courses, the PGA Coaching Center, and the Fields Ranch practice facility. He will also support the agronomy efforts coordinated with the PGA and Omni PGA Frisco Resort. Earnest comes to PGA Frisco after five years as the regional general manager of The Woodlands Country Club near Houston, where he oversaw the 99-hole private, non-equity club. He directed golf,
tennis, and food and beverage operations across five independent clubhouses, including private events, sales and marketing. Prior to that, he spent 20 years as the PGA director of golf at Four Seasons Resort & Club in Irving.

Josh Burleson, President

Josh Burleson joined Susser Bank in 2018 and is the director of commercial banking there. In his role, he leads the commercial lending and the SBA group. As president of Tarrant County Bankers Association, he will lead the organization, which aims to educate and serve Tarrant County Bankers, to provide opportunities for members to get to know one another, and to make a positive impact in the community. The association hosts social events, educational seminars, and more.
