The North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors has been handing out its Stemmons Service Award for 45 years. It’s held in high esteem among those in the North Texas commercial real estate community as it recognizes not only professional accomplishments but also industry and community involvement.

NTCAR revealed its annual winner on January 20 at the Dallas Country Club: Mike Geisler, founding principal and managing partner of Venture Commercial Real Estate. Since launching his firm in 2000, he has played a significant role in the region’s retail sector, especially helping to lead the recent reinvention of Deep Ellum. Along the way, he has earned a reputation for being among the most respected players in the industry. (Watch Geisler’s finalist interview with Jack Gosnell of CBRE here.)

He began his career at Henry S. Miller/Grubb & Ellis, becoming a top producer and earning the title of vice president. He joined Weitzman in 1990 and continued his brokerage success.

Also in the running for this year’s Stemmons Service Award were Lawrence Gardner of OMS Strategic Advisors and Greg Cannon and Mary Stoner Yost of Colliers International.
